Sobacha
Made from roasted buckwheat kernels, our delicious and naturally caffeine-free sobacha makes for a comforting hot brew as well as an exceptionally quenching iced beverage. In Korea and Japan, buckwheat tea is commonly kept in the refrigerator or in a warmer for serving in place of water. Its distinctive velvety golden-yellow liquor bears notes of roasted nuts, a savory foundation of dark wood and straw, and a malty sweetness that persists on the palate. It can help ease an upset stomach, and offers a similar drinking experience to our mugicha (barley tea) without the gluten.
