Glenburn 1st Flush Darjeeling

Harvested in March and early April, Glenburn First Flush captures the freshness of spring in Darjeeling. The delicate green leaves are handled gently on their journey to the factory, then spread in a thin layer to wither naturally, without hot air. Experienced tea makers carefully assess the leaves by touch and aroma, allowing their character to develop at its own pace.

Glenburn’s dry, cold spring conditions and cool withering temperatures slow oxidation and help shape the tea’s distinctive flavors. In the cup, it is light and bright, with a lemony hue, a gentle hint of astringency, and citrus notes reminiscent of seasonal orange blossoms.
